Please plan to attend our Chapter Past President’s Dinner on February 15^th when we will not only recognize and honor our amazing Past Presidents, but award two Tim Fleming Memorial Scholarships! The large application pool resulted in two winners this year. They are Morgan Wilson of UC Davis and Micaela Robertson of UOP. They will be attending the meeting to receive their scholarship checks from Susan Fleming Bentley.

The evening will also include guest speaker Shane Motley, a meteorologist with HDR. Shane’s specialty is weather and energy forecasting. He worked as an on-air meteorologist with a CBS affiliate in Southeast Texas, KBTX – TV 3 where he reported live from the eye of hurricanes Rita and Frances. Shane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from UC Davis, and a Master’s Degree in Atmospheric Science from Texas A&M University. Come hear Shane’s observations regarding the wet winter we have experienced and what might be in store this spring.
