Maryn Pitt, City of Turlock—April Meeting Speaker

Maryn PittMaryn Pitt has worked for the City of Turlock for almost ten years. She has and continues to wear many hats and serves in several key roles.  Primarily, she serves in the City Manager’s Office and directs all economic development activities, serves as the organization’s Public Information Officer and oversees the City’s Housing Program.  She also serves as the City’s property agent for all of its real estate transactions.   She brings to that position more than thirty years of experience in working with legislative matters, public information, economic development, and land use related issues.

Prior to her joining the City of Turlock, she was appointed by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors to the Monterey County Planning Commission, and served two four-year terms, including one year as its Chair.

Maryn will be speaking to us about the current economic development programs in the City of Turlock and on her predictions for growth in the city over the next couple of years.
