Brad Diede, ACEC-CA’s New Executive Director — February Meeting Speaker

Brad Diede has been selected to be the new Executive Director of ACEC-CA. Brad takes over for Paul Meyer who is retiring after 32 years leading the statewide association. Brad Diede has been serving for the last ten and a half years as the Executive Director for California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors (CALPASC), an organization of construction trade contractors, suppliers, and related businesses. Brad worked with CALPASC since their founding in 2003 managing membership, media campaigns, and government affairs. He has led a grassroots campaign that marshaled the passage of significant legislation regarding construction defect matters and promoted fair enforcement of key California laws and regulations regarding construction.

Prior to CALPASC, Brad was a management consultant. Notably in his career, he was employed as a senior consultant for a firm that co-authored The One Minute Manager series, where he conducted assessments and implemented programs to enhance productivity. Brad will discuss ACEC-CA’s recent vision building and strategic planning, and his action plan as new Executive Director. He plans to spend part of his time at the meeting soliciting input and feedback from members to “feel the pulse” of ACEC-CA and its member representatives.
